Neodymium Magnets

Neodymium magnets are the strongest in the world – the higher the grade, the stronger the pull force. MagTech carries N35 – N52 neodymiums in a comprehensive line of stock sizes. Additionally, we can produce magnets to your specifications with superior corrosion-resistance coatings.

If you’ve never handled neodymium magnets before, you will be amazed at their strength. Neodymium magnets are more than 10x stronger than the strongest ceramic magnets. Ask us how these magnets can hold your project up more than likely using a much smaller magnet and have greater holding force. Available in all shapes, sizes, and coatings.

Neodymium magnets are composed mostly of Neodymium, Iron, and Boron. Therefore, if left exposed to the elements, the iron in the magnet will rust. It is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated to protect the magnet from corrosion and strengthen the brittle magnet material. There are a variety of options for coatings, but our in-house Nano coating has a high corrosion- resistance. These magnets are strongly attractive, even from several inches away. The force is powerful enough to pinch skin, depending on the size of the magnet. It is recommended using spacers such as plastic, wood or cardboard when separating magnets for storage.
